Soundcinema Düsseldorf 2026

Soundcinema Düsseldorf is looking for experimental, electronic, and electroacoustic sound works for its 2026 festival programme in Düsseldorf, Germany. Selected works will be presented in an acousmatic listening setting at FFT Düsseldorf on 28 October 2026, where ten audio pieces will be showcased. The call is open to musical compositions, soundscapes, sonic experiments, sound collages, narrative audio works, and technoid productions that push beyond conventional listening formats. Applicants can submit either to an open category or to the 2026 theme “Acceleration,” which is looking for works engaging with speed, density, rhythm, instability, and processes of temporal and structural intensification in sound.
