About this opportunity
The Stories x Women aims to identify authentic animation stories from women creators from emerging national film and audio-visual animation communities in Africa, Asia-Pacific and Latin America. The program’s goal is to support access to international opportunities for women creatives from emerging animation communities of Africa, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America and, ultimately, to increase the diversity of voices in animation.
Rewards
- Each year, the program selects delegates from eligible countries to benefit from a series of mentoring and coaching sessions. Internationally acclaimed animation experts lead these sessions to prepare the delegates to pitch their projects at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival and Market.
- The program pays for all participant expenses, including travel, lodging, and accreditations.
Eligibility
- This call is open to 2 team members which must have one woman identifying, transgender or a non-binary person leading as the project holder.
- Project holder must be above the age of 18.
- All women identifying and non-binary persons in Africa can apply for this program.
- The project holder must have sufficient English skills.
