About this opportunity
The John Ruskin Prize, a global art competition, invites artists aged 18 and over to explore perception and creation through a wide range of mediums, including traditional and contemporary art, from traditional forms to digital art. The Prize welcomes works in all mediums, including drawing, painting, print, sculpture, photography, textile, animation, mixed media, digital, performance, installation and more.
Rewards
- £3,000 for the 1st Prize
- £2,000 for the 2nd Prize
- £1,000 for the Alan Davidson Under 26 Prize
- £1,000 for the International Prize.
- The winners will be selected from a shortlist of up to 50 artists and announced at an awards ceremony during the exhibition at Trinity Buoy Wharf, London.
Eligibility
Open to artists, designers, and makers aged 18 and over, from any nationality.
Entry Fee
The entry fee varies by category: £25 for one artwork, £40 for two, and £50 for three for standard entries; £20, £25, and £38 for under-26 entries; and £15, £20, and £30 for international digital entries.
