About this opportunity
The Sprinng Writing Fellowship (SWF) is a FREE and intensive 6-week online mentorship program designed for emerging writers from Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia, and South Africa. Since 2018, 360+ mentees have been matched with 180+ experienced mentors, shaping the next generation of literary voices.
This fellowship focuses on 4 key genres:
Poetry
Fiction
Creative Nonfiction
Book Reviews
Over the 6-week period (June 1 – July 15, 2025), selected mentees will work closely with their mentors, receiving personalized feedback and refining their craft. Mentees and mentors will collaborate on at least one piece of writing per week, with communication happening through email, phone calls, WhatsApp, and text messages.

Eligibility
- Must be a citizen and resident of Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia, or South Africa
- Ages 18–25
- Must not have published a book (including eBooks, chapbooks, or hardcopies)
