About this opportunity

RISEAfrica is searching for four young Africans who are breaking boundaries in the Urban Space and inspiring creativity in how we act on existing opportunities in Africa. The RISE Africa Young Storytellers’ primary role is to leverage Africa’s vibrancy to produce and share creative and positive narratives about African cities and connect communities to each other and to the RISE Africa platform.  

Rewards

Monthly stipend of $250

Profiling as a Young Storyteller on  RISE Africa media platforms

Exposure to other youth and organizations committed to urban change

Participation in several intergenerational dialogues with other changemakers and urban leaders

Eligibility

Podcaster or poet from Africa.

Age between 18 and 35.

High social media following of over 10,000  on at least one media platform.
