About this opportunity
Photographers and visual artists in Africa can apply for the Reimagining African Narratives Photography fellowship. Reimagining African Narratives is a 6-month photography fellowship fostering responsible collaboration from an African perspective. Through online and in-person workshops, participants receive expert mentorship to advance long-term projects, challenge traditional documentary formats, and engage a global audience through hands-on editing and publishing sessions.
Rewards
NEWF would provide accommodation, meals during in person meetings, all flights and local transfer would also be covered. Participants will be required to arrange their own home-country ground transfers, visas to South Africa, home-country wifi for online sessions and any project associated costs.
Eligibility
Open to African photographers aged 18 and above and living in Africa. Applicants are responsible for obtaining and paying for their own visas and covering home-country transport costs to the airport and back.
