About this opportunity
In our agora, we invite photographic work that captures the ways contemporary humans and Nature are entangled with quantification and numbers. We are open to any submissions that broadly engage in a questioning of the role of numbers in organizing human lives and their impact on humans and nature.
Rewards
All works will be featured in the online gallery on our website.
All series/visual story submissions will receive feedback and recommendations from the academic and artistic committee.
Downloadable certificates – will also be invited to the online ceremony, including winner announcements, and presentations.
Publication – submissions will be highlighted online via our official website (a personal profile will be created) and social media platforms such as Instagram.
Exhibitions – all short-list works will be featured at exhibitions in major artistic venues in Barcelona and Edinburgh.
An edited book – some of the submissions will also be included in an edited book volume that will be published based on contributions from the members of the Re-Count Curatorial Board.
