About this opportunity

The competition organized by Rattle calls on poets from all countries writing in English to enter the competition. You may submit up to four poems per entry. Poems may be any length, any style, or any subject. Poems must be written in English (no translations except by the original author). Entries must not have been previously published. Entries must not have been previously published. They cannot have appeared in any books, e-books, magazines, or similar collections, online or in print.

Rewards

The overall winner will receive a cash prize of $15,000 USD. Ten finalists will each receive $500 USD, and be eligible for the $5,000 USD Reader’s Choice Award.

Eligibility

The competition is open to poets of any nationality writing in English.

Entry Fee

The $30 entry fee is a one-year subscription to Rattle (or a one-year extension for subscribers).
