About this opportunity

Wasafiri calls on writers from all countries to enter the New Writing Prize. The prize is judged in three categories: Fiction, Poetry and Life Writing. The word limit is 3000 words. Entries must not have been previously published in any form (excluding live performances or shares on personal blogs or social media channels).

Rewards

Each Winner in the three categories Fiction, Life Writing and Poetry will be awarded a prize of £1,000 and publication in Wasafiri magazine.

Eligibility

The competition is open to poets of any nationality in any part of the world.

Entry Fee

A single entry costs £12 , two entries are £16.
