About this opportunity

Med Screen Arts Centre invites screenwriters in all parts of the world to submit their works and stand a chance to win €5,000 cash prize and have your script reviewed by an Oscar nominee and Palme d’Or winner, a former studio executive from CBS, FOX, and Lifetime, and a top CAA Hollywood agent. 

Rewards

The winner will be awarded:

• €5,000 cash prize
• Exclusive experience in Los Angeles, including:
• Tour of the CAA office and a meeting with an expert
• Four 30-minute online mentoring sessions by top professionals in the field.

The 10 finalists will receive:

• Invitation to the awards ceremony
• Certificate recognizing their achievement in the Screen Arts Centre’s Screenwriting Competition
• Recognition on the MSAA website 
• One 30-minute online mentoring session.

Eligibility

• Basic Submission 
  Early Bird Deadline: 21st February 2025 – €50
  Regular Deadline: 21st June 2025 – €65
  One-time submission into competition.

• Premium Submission
  Early Bird Deadline:21st February 2025 – €100
  Regular Deadline: 21st June 2025 – €120
  ● Receive notes from mentors
  ● Ability to submit your updated script draft to the competition
