About this opportunity

Maldito Festival de Videopoesía is calling for applications of videopoems from poets worldwide for its 2024 edition, to be held on 15 November 2024 at the Teatro Circo in Albacete and on the online platform FILMIN. 

Maldito Festival seeks to vindicate video poetry as an art that connects people, transmits feelings and stimulates different ways to see the world. It is also a tiny contribution of enormous people to empower visual art, stopping it from being marginal.

Rewards

• €300 grand prize
• €200 for second prize
• €100 for third prize

Eligibility

The contest is open to videopoets all over the world. Videopoems should have Spanish subtitles if they are not originally in Spanish.
