About this opportunity 

Makifaa Lens on Africa Challenge 2025 invites photographers in Africa to submit their best high‑quality photos that capture the modern, diverse and dynamic spirit of Africa from street scenes and portraits to cultural traditions and innovation.

Rewards

• First place – $500
• Second place – $350
• Third place – $250
• Launch Bonus – $35 for the 10 contributors with 100 approved images
• Weekly challenge – $ 50 to the contributor with the approved images each week

Eligibility

Participation is open to all African photographers in all parts of the Africa. You must register to be a part of the competititon.
