The Lens-Based Incubation Programme (LensBIP) offers a chance to win up to USD $10,000 in seed funding. MADHouse by Tikera Africa presents this program aimed at cultivating artistic, media, and creative practices centered around the profound use of lenses.
We are seeking creatives who recognize the future potential of lens-based content, whether still or moving images/animation. This encompasses the use of photography, film, cinematic narrative, animation, digital art, AI-mediated content, and stories told through any form the imagination can conjure.
The program is tailored to develop and enhance critical and creative practices within the expanding field of lens-based learning, providing participants with an opportunity to win up to USD $10,000 in seed funding.
Rewards
A three-month incubator for creatives with ideas centered around the future of lens-based content (still or moving image/animation) with a chance to win up to USD $10,000 in seed funding.
Eligibility
Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 35. Applicants must be digitally literate. Your idea must be lens-based. Applicants must be able to dedicate their time to developing the idea between January 15th and April 30th.
