The Illustraciència International Illustration Award 2025 invites illustrators in all parts of the world. This award celebrates excellence in scientific and naturalist illustration. Artists can submit detailed, hand-drawn or digital illustrations that align with either the Scientific Illustration category, focusing on technical accuracy, or the Naturalist Illustration category, which emphasizes aesthetic beauty and artistic representation.

Rewards

• Winners in each category (Scientific and Naturalist) will receive a prize of €1,000.
• Additionally, up to five special mentions will be awarded, and a public mention will be selected through online voting. All 40 selected artworks will receive a digital certificate of recognition.

Eligibility

The competition is open to both individuals and teams aged 18 and above, welcoming submissions from professional illustrators, researchers, students, and hobbyists.
