About this opportunity

Three proposals will be selected and awarded equally for their originality, creativity, site-specificity, and connection with the theme of Care. The 2024 prize calls for site-specific, large-scale installations created to be part of a specific, configured environment; works that narrate an internal path/route, and which can be reference points within their exhibition space. 

Rewards

Each of the three selected proposals will be awarded the amount of 7,000 euros, and an additional 5,000 euros will be made available to each artist for the construction of the work. The artists will have from mid-February until the end of May to create their work and send it to Crete for installation. The G. & A. Mamidakis Foundation will cover all shipping costs, one return ticket to Crete for each of the winning artists, and their accommodation and meals at Minos Palace.
