About this opportunity

The Canex Prize for Publishing calls for all African publishers living in Africa to submit books published within the preceding year (1 January to 31 December) to stand a chance of winning up to $20,000.

• Finalists get $2,000 each.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the CANEX Prize for Publishing in Africa, books must be first published by African publishers located in Africa. The publication date must be within the eligibility window of the preceding calendar year beginning from 1 January and ending 31 December. For the inaugural year, books published in the preceding two years will be eligible.
