About this opportunity

Tate, in collaboration with Delfina Foundation, is offering two six-month Fellowships in the Tate Britain Curatorial Division, running 5 April – 17 September 2027, open to international researchers based outside the UK. One strand focuses on researching Leonora Carrington’s engagement with theatre and performance, particularly suited to a researcher with knowledge of the Mexican social-political and cultural context; the other supports research into the 2028 Tate Britain Commission through the lens of artist-supported studios for disabled and neurodivergent artists. Fellows are based at Delfina Foundation in London and work primarily at Tate Britain, with access to Tate’s collection, archives, staff and networks, and travel to other Tate sites across the UK.

Rewards

  • Six-month Fellowship from April 2027, with a research resource allowance and travel to other Tate UK galleries and European cultural institutions
