About this opportunity
The BWP X Nikon 50k Grants are funds set up by the Black Women Photographers and Nikon to support Black women creatives, to create proper recognition and most importantly, create job opportunities. The Grants gives Black women with funds and Nikon gears. The 50k Grant is broken down to a 10k grant for one recipient and the 5K grants for 5 recipients, both grants aim to fund the completion of a visual project and the 3k grants which supports 5 recipients aims to help ease the burden of business expenses. The Nikon Gears Grant would provide recipient with mirrorless Nikon gears for working.

$50K Grant Breakdown:
- $10,000 Grant: Grant amount per recipient: $10,000 USD for 1 person.
- $5,000 Grants: Grant amount per recipient: $5,000 USD for 5 people.
- $3,000 Grants: Grant amount per recipient: $3,000 USD for 5 people.
Nikon Gear Breakdown
- Z 8 and 24-70mm f/2.8 and 85mm f/1.8 for one recipient.
- Z 7II and 28-75mm f/2.8 for one recipient.
- Z 6II 28-75mm f/2.8 and 35mm f/1.8 for one recipient.
- Z fc + 16-50mm Lens Kit for one recipient.
- Z 30 One Lens Kit for one recipient.

- All international-based applicants are welcome to apply.
- You do not have to be a Nikon user to apply.
- Applications are opened to black women photographers only.
- Applications are opened to both members and non-members of BWP.
