About this opportunity
Black Film Space invites Black filmmakers worldwide to submit their proposals and stand a chance of winning $2,500 to help bring their creative vision to life. They are seeking original short films at any stage of production that require funding to complete principal photography by December 31, 2025.

Applicants can reside anywhere globally, but must have access to a United States bank in order to receive the funds for the grant.
- Must be at least 18 years old. If you are under 18, you must have a core team member (producer, writer, director) that is at least 18 years old to process all administrative needs for your film.
Entry Fee:
$25. Free for Black Film Space Members.
