About this opportunity

The ARAK Collection is calling for applications to apply to an intensive three-day Critical Art Writing Workshop. The purpose of the workshop is to provide an interactive thinking/writing environment for gifted and ambitious art writers and cultural analysts, and to deepen a local, regional, continental and global understanding of art from Africa. The main objective is to produce a 1000–1200-word essay/review of an overall impression of the art fair or an assessment of artworks, or a booth.⁠ Interested applicants are invited to submit a writing sample of max 500 words.
