About this opportunity

The 2025 GEO Young Reporter Scholarship invites young journalists and photojournalists who understand French to apply and stand a chance of getting a funding of €5,000 as well as technical support from the editorial team of GEO magazine.

• The winner of the GEO Grant will receive funding of €5,000, covering the costs of their reporting and guaranteeing fair compensation.
• They will benefit from tailor-made support from the editorial team, including preparatory briefings, practical advice for successful reporting and the support of an experienced journalist or photographer
• Their work will be published in GEO magazine as well as on its website, giving them significant visibility. Throughout the duration of their project, the winner will be supported by a committed team and will also benefit from insurance coverage provided by Prisma Media.
