About this opportunity
Tilga Art Prize is welcoming submissions from artists between the ages of 18 and 30 working and living in Nigeria, or of Nigerian descent. Applicants are invited to submit proposals as individuals or as groups across a variety of creative disciplines that include photography, painting, sculpture, illustration or multidisciplinary arts.
Rewards
Four artists will be selected as finalists and allocated the following prizes:
- 1st Prize: $4,000 and an all-expenses-paid residency at G.A.S. Lagos or the G.A.S. Farm House
- 2nd Prize: $3,000
- 3rd Prize: $2,000
- 4th Prize: $1,000
Additional benefits include mentorship by established artists, salons hosted by renowned Nigerian collectors and global publicity by all supporting partners.
Eligibility
- Artists between the ages of 18 and 30 working and living in Nigeria, or of Nigerian descent only can apply
- Artists of these creative disciplines photography, painting, sculpture, illustration or multidisciplinary arts can apply.
