The exhibition titled “Suro Nipa” based on the Akan adage, invites the audience to reflect on the fact that environmental degradation is indeed a man-made problem and that the inevitable consequences result from both collective action/ inaction and individual action putting the attention on the individual and societal responsibility that man has with nature.

This shifts the language from saving the environment to “saving mankind” because it is mankind that needs saving. The environment  will persist and envolve with or without mankind. 

Essentially the future of our living environment since the Anthropocene is closely linked to the question of social justice.
