For September, SESIME is the film. On his return from prison, a murder convict seeks to rebuild his life amidst deep-seated discrimination supported dangerously by the friendship of a cheating wife. You can’t miss this beautiful piece on Friday, 29th September 2023.

As the film series gains momentum, the organizers hope that it will also spark discussions about the future of Ghanaian cinema and the broader African film industry. The UniMAC, Institute of Film and Television aims to expand the reach of the series, potentially collaborating with other institutions and bringing international filmmakers to Ghana for special showcases and workshops.
