On Saturday, August 12 as we celebrate 50 Years Of Hip Hop culture at the National Museum. We are bringing together all the elements – DJing, MCing, breakdance, graffiti, beatboxing & street fashion – across various stages, for an all-night Hip Hop party. The main stage hosts an impeccable lineup of DJs, taking us on 12 hour Journey through the History of Hip Hop, from 1973 to date. The Knowledge stage will host a live podcast recording, a panel session on the Roots of Hip Hop in Kenya, live MC/rap cyphers brought to you by Back to Basics, and 3 hours of live hip-hop performances featuring Xtatic, courtesy of Fanisi Music.
