About this opportunity
The LOEWE Foundation is seeking outstanding contemporary craft works for the 10th edition of its international Craft Prize. Open to professional artisans worldwide, the prize recognises original, one-of-a-kind works that combine exceptional craftsmanship with artistic vision and innovation. Applicants can submit handmade or partly handmade pieces across disciplines including ceramics, textiles, jewellery, glass, wood, metal, leather, furniture, paper, and other applied arts. Shortlisted works will be exhibited in Europe in spring 2027, with the winning work receiving a €50,000 prize.

Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be professional artisans aged 18 or older
- Apply as an individual or group (companies are not eligible)
- Submit one original work or one series of works
- Own the work and have created it themselves (handmade or partly handmade)
- Submit a work created within the last five years
- Submit a work that has not previously won an award
- Submit a work that demonstrates artistic vision and innovation by reinterpreting traditional craft techniques
