Eligibility
- Open to emerging writers who have published no more than six pieces in any professional outlet (print or online, any country or language)
- Writers previously published in The Burlington Magazine or Burlington Contemporary are not eligible
- No age limit
- Must submit an original, unpublished review of a contemporary art exhibition (art made since 2000)
- Exhibition reviewed must be current or have closed within the last 6 months
- Writing must be in English
- Text must be 800–1,000 words
- Includes up to three low-resolution images
- No poetry, visual essays, or self-referential work accepted
