About this opportunity
The Goethe-Institut invites applications for the Mobility Grants for Artists and Culture Professionals in Sub-Saharan Africa and Europe, part of the Africa-Europe Partnerships for Culture programme. Implemented in partnership with Expertise France and Institut français, this 8 million EUR initiative (2025–2028) promotes equitable dialogue, co-creation, and collaboration between African and European cultural actors.
The scheme primarily supports Africa–Africa short-term mobility, while also funding Africa–Europe and Europe–Africa exchanges that foster creative partnerships. Mobility can be physical, digital, or hybrid, and is designed to strengthen professional development, cultural exchange, and long-term cooperation.
