The open call is looking for innovative, creative, sustainable, and inclusive fashion brands with strong collections and distinctive presentation concepts. African fashion labels have the opportunity to receive a €25,000 grant to support their fashion show or presentation. In addition, one African winning label will receive professional support with show production, guest management, PR, and invitations.\nAfrican brands are responsible for covering their own travel costs, shipping their collection, and customs clearance. More than one African brand can receive prize money, but only one African brand gets the additional production/PR support.\nRewards\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n€25,000 grant to support your presentation during Berlin Fashion Week\nOne African winning label will receive additional support with show production, guest management, PR and invitations\n\nEligibility\n\n\n\nFashion labels must be registered in an African country\nMust employ fewer than 30 people\nMust present a physical collection of at least 15 looks\nThe presentation should be aimed at professional fashion industry visitors\nThe concept must demonstrate a clear approach to sustainability and inclusion\nApplicants must provide a realistic budget and financing plan\nThe collection should demonstrate strong design, market potential, a distinctive brand identity, and potential for national and international media attention\nApplicants must include information about their brand, collection, creative concept, sustainability and inclusion approach, and proposed presentation\nApplicants must complete the required Sustainability Requirements questionnaire\nThe grant must not cause the recipient to exceed the €300,000 de minimis funding limit over three years\n\nEntry Fee\nFree \n\n\nHow to Apply \nApply using the link: Berlin Fashion Week Open Call 2027\nAll questions regarding this opportunity should be sent to coordination@fashionweek.berlin\n
