The programme brings together a small group of East African and African practitioners to explore how Swahili culture, history, and imagination can shape future creative narratives. Artists will develop new work through a combination of independent studio practice, shared creative sessions, cultural immersion in Zanzibar, and mentorship from local and international practitioners.
