DESCRIPTION:Opportunity type: Open Call\nFor: Artists\nDeadline: 04/08/24\nRewards:  Exhibition\nLocation Eligibility: Worldwide\n\nAbout this opportunity\n\nSculptureCenter invite artists who have not yet had an institutional solo exhibition in New York City to submit proposals for solo exhibitions in designated gallery spaces at SculptureCenter. Artists are also invited to propose off-site projects, publishing initiatives, performances, and nontraditional formats, which will be considered based on feasibility. Up to seven artists will be selected to participate in the program from spring 2025 to winter 2026. Each exhibition will be on view for approximately four to six weeks.\nRewards\n\n\nArtists will receive the support of SculptureCenter’s curatorial and exhibition production staff, access to SculptureCenter’s audiovisual equipment pool (as available), installation assistance, and installation photography for the exhibition.\nProposals should reflect a production budget of up to $6,000.\nParticipating artists will receive a separate honorarium of $1,000.\n\n \n\nEligibility\nThis opportunity is open to artists in any part of the world\nEntry Fee\n\nFree\nHow to Apply\nApply using the link: InPractice Open Call\nAll questions regarding this award should be sent to inpractice@sculpture-center.org.\n
