Rencontres d’Arles invites curators worldwide to apply for the 2026 Curatorial Research Grant, dedicated to supporting innovative exhibition projects related to photography and images. The award provides both funding and institutional backing to allow curators to develop original projects from the research phase through to production and public presentation.
Rewards

Eligibility
- Individual curators only (no collectives, duos, or organizations)
- Must have a professional practice as an exhibition curator
- Projects may be submitted in French or English
- Must submit a full proposal including biography, project description (max. 5,000 characters), corpus of works/artists, research and production budgets
