The Next Narrative Africa Fund has launched its first public call for submissions, offering development grants for narrative feature films and television series. Backed by a $40 million hybrid fund, this opportunity marks the beginning of a long-term relationship, including future financing and strategic support.

The fund is looking for bold, commercially viable projects that shift dominant narratives about Africa and people of African descent. This is not just a one-time grant—selected projects may receive further investment and support through the fund’s pipeline.

6–10 projects will be selected.
