Zami Collective and House E present The Artist Rest Residency, a two-week, artist-led retreat in Lamu Island, Kenya. Designed as a slow, process-focused residency, it offers artists time and space to rest, reflect, and develop ideas without pressure to produce final works. The programme blends creative exploration with cultural exchange, including engagement with the local Swahili community through workshops and collaborative activities. Artists will also take part in a final showcase and may have future opportunities to exhibit work at the Lamu souk.
