About this opportunity
The Chizi Wigwe Prize for African Futurism is seeking African artists and creatives who are using imaginative, future-focused artistic practices to re-envision the continent’s trajectory. Centered on the theme “Africa in 2100,” the prize encourages applicants to explore how African societies, cultures, technologies, and creative traditions might evolve over the next century. Through this award, the 1952 Africa Foundation and the HOW Foundation aim to support bold, original visions that place African perspectives at the forefront of global conversations about the future, innovation, and humanity.
