About this opportunity
basis e.V. and the city of Frankfurt invite young international curators to participate in the AIR_Frankfurt program. The residency offers a unique opportunity to engage deeply with the local art scene, develop curatorial research, and foster collaborations with Frankfurt-based artists. Residents will have time and space to pursue their own projects while connecting with a network of creatives and cultural professionals.
Rewards
- Fully funded 2-month residency from 1 February – 31 March 2026
- Monthly per diem of €1000

- Accommodation in a fully equipped studio apartment at basis e.V.

Eligibility
- Young cultural practitioners and scholars with relevant curatorial experience
- Residence predominantly outside Germany
- Good command of English or German
- University or art academy graduate
- Genuine interest in the Frankfurt art scene
