DatArtGod, also known as Ohemeng Oware Jr, is a self-taught visual artist hailing from Accra, Ghana. He began his artistic journey as a hobby in 2015 while studying General Science at the Accra Academy. After this, he pursued a degree in Computer Science at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
His creative process is heavily influenced by themes of identity, culture, emotion, and spirituality. And his aim is to create art that is both thought-provoking and aesthetically engaging, drawing on his personal experiences and observations of the world around him. To achieve this, he deeply explores materials and techniques, often experimenting with digital tools to create a layered and multidimensional effect.
