About this opportunity
The FFC Global Short Film Fund, presented by Female Film Club in partnership with Krassimira Belev, First Draft, Disauthority, and Mo-Sys, supports women and non-binary filmmakers from around the world in bringing ambitious short films to life. The programme provides funding, post-production resources, virtual production support, mentorship, networking opportunities, and industry exposure, with the winning film announced and showcased at the BFI London Film Festival in October 2026. Every applicant also receives access to filmmaking tools and a one-year Female Film Club membership.
Rewards
- €10,000 production grant for the winning short film
- €15,000 in post-production services from Disauthority
- €8,000 Mo-Sys Virtual Production support, including one-to-one consulting and studio rental
- €600 Mo-Sys virtual production support for each shortlisted film (group consultations)
- One-year Female Film Club membership
- Free IMGN account worth £800 for screenplay analysis, storyboarding, scheduling, and character development
- Mentorship, networking opportunities, and tailored industry introductions
- Winner announced and showcased at the BFI London Film Festival 2026
Eligibility
- Applicants must identify as female or non-binary
- Must be aged 18 or older
- Must join the Female Film Club’s free networking space
- Open to filmmakers worldwide
- Projects must be original short films (maximum 30 minutes, any genre)
- Applications must be submitted in English
