About this opportunity
The TaDA Textile and Design Alliance Artist-in-Residence Programme offers six artists and creative professionals from Switzerland and around the world the opportunity to develop innovative textile-related projects in collaboration with leading textile companies and research institutions in Eastern Switzerland. During the three-month residency, participants receive access to industry expertise, production facilities, and mentorship while developing experimental projects that explore textile culture, sustainability, and design. Residents present their work through public events, workshops, and the annual TaDA Spinnerei programme, fostering international exchange and collaboration.
Rewards
- Three-month residency in Arbon, Switzerland (April–June or September–November 2027)

- Shared workspace at the Kreativzentrum ZIK in Arbon

Eligibility
- Open to artists and creative professionals from all disciplines worldwide
- Demonstrated interest in textile production, textile culture, and sustainability
- Basic knowledge of textile production is an advantage
- Projects should have a strong experimental approach
- Project proposal must demonstrate collaboration with TaDA partner companies
- Good knowledge of English or German is required
