About this opportunity

Artention 2025, powered by Société Générale Ghana and African Movie Box (AMB), supports emerging African filmmakers in creating impactful short films that align with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This year’s theme, Shifting Narratives, encourages storytellers to challenge perspectives, inspire social change, and highlight inclusive, diverse, and sustainable stories.

Rewards

Eligibility

• All team members aged 18–31
• Teams must include a Writer, Director, Cinematographer, Lead Actor/Actress, and Editor
• At least 2 female cast or crew members per team
• Inclusion of persons with disabilities is strongly encouraged
• Scripts must explore at least one Artention theme and be original, unproduced work
