The competition rewards artists with $50,000 in all cash prizes each year, and exposure to their work, with the winning painting featured on the cover of PleinAir magazine.\nWinners in each monthly competition receive recognition and exposure through PleinAir magazine’s print magazine, e-newsletters, websites, and social media. Winners of each competition will also be entered into the annual competition. \nRewards\n\n\n\n\n\n1st Place Overall\n\n\n\n\n\n$600 Cash Prize\nA feature on the Fine Art Connoisseur website, and in Fine Art Today and Plein Air Today\n\n2nd Place Overall\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n$300 Cash Prize\n\n3rd Place Overall\n\n\n$200 Cash Prize\n\nEligibility\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAll individuals entering must be at least 18 years of age.\nCompetition is open to residents of any state or country where acceptable by law.\nThose entering the Artists Over 65 categories must verify their age if selected as an award winner.. \n\nEntry Fee\n\n\nEach entry must be accompanied by an entry fee.\nThe fee for the first image submitted is $38, and additional images submitted are $16 each.
