These grants are designed to spotlight and support the next wave of talent in sports photography, providing a unique opportunity for individuals to escalate their careers within this vibrant and challenging field. With a focus on both the kinetic energy of action shots and the nuanced storytelling of portraits, the grants celebrate the diverse and dynamic essence of sports through the lens of photography.\nRewards\n\nSeven talented photographers will each be awarded a $5,000 grant by the Doug Pensinger Photography Fund. \nExpenses-paid trip to the 2024 DPPF Sports Photography Gathering.\nUp to 3 of the 7 grant winners will be chosen to receive a year-long mentorship opportunity with leading industry professionals on the  DPPF Advisory Board.\n\nEligibility\n\n\nOpen to emerging and early-career sports photographers.\nPhotographers with more than 3 years cumulative paid professional sports photography experience are considered beyond the scope of the DPPF’s programs.\n Previous DPPF grant recipients are not eligible to apply.\nThe application process is not limited to U.S. citizens, although international candidates should be aware that the DPPF is not able to provide support that is prohibited under U.S. law.\n\nEntry Fee\n\nThere is no entry fee.\nHow to Apply\nApply using the link:  2024 Sport Photography Grant \nAll questions regarding this award should be sent to info@dppfund.org.\n
