SOME FINE DAY Pix provides cutting-edge filmmaking knowledge across various departments and facilitates connections with established filmmakers worldwide. They offer comprehensive training and financial support to East African filmmakers, both digitally and on-site in Kenya.\nParticipants independently develop, pitch, and produce their stories as part of our program. The masterclasses are supplemented by webinars covering current industry topics, enriching daily work routines.\nRewards\nSelected participants will receive mentorship in how to bring a script to screen, to prepare for production and delivery and a grant to support in the production of a short film.  Each selected team will be awarded with financial support of KES 1 Million by SOME FINE DAY Pix to produce their respective short film.\nEligibility\n\n\nThe applicant must demonstrate professional experience in the film industry.\n The applicant must hold African citizenship and reside in Kenya permanently.\nThe applicant must be at least 18 years of age.\nThe applicant must be fluent in the English language, written and spoken.\nThe applicant must have full access to a laptop (including webcam and audio system) and WIFI connection sufficient enough to host video conferencing.
