The Prince Claus Fund Seed Award supports 100 emerging artists and cultural practitioners working in contexts where cultural expression is under pressure. The Award offers freedom and space to develop artistic practices addressing socially and politically relevant issues within local contexts. Recipients can use the grant to explore new ideas, nurture connections, invest in materials, or focus on experimentation without financial strain.\nRewards\nEach Seed Award recipient will receive a grant of €5,000 to invest in developing their artistic and cultural practice on their own terms.\nEligibility\n\n\n\nApplicants must be in the first 1–5 years of their professional artistic or cultural career (study years excluded), practicing individually, and addressing social/political topics relevant to their local context.
