DESCRIPTION:Opportunity type: Grant\nFor: Filmmakers\nDeadline: 31/10/2025\nRewards: Up to $10,000 + equipment + $10k post-production package\nLocation Eligibility: Worldwide\n\nAbout this opportunity\n\nThe Kodak Short Film Fund allows emerging talent worldwide to test their ideas before embarking on a feature film.\nGrants of up to £7,000 / $10,000 are available towards the production costs of all scripted genres and documentary short film content.\nFor this edition of the fund, First Flights have partnered with Kodak and Periscope to offer exceptional additional opportunities for filmmakers. Two winners will receive 5 x 400ft rolls of KODAK 16mm film stock with full processing costs covered, while one filmmaker will be awarded a comprehensive $10,000 post-production package from Periscope.\nAdditionally, this initiative supports using the resulting short films as proof of concept for future feature films.\nThe First Flights Short Film Fund is intended for live action and documentary short films of any genre. Awards will be given to projects which intend to be in production no more than six months after the deadline closes.
