DESCRIPTION:Opportunity type:  Residency\nFor: Artists and Researchers\nDeadline: 08/11/2024.\nRewards: Accommodation + Monthly Stipend etc.\nLocation Eligibility: Worldwide\n\nAbout this opportunity\n\nArt Explora and the Cité interna1onale des arts join forces to co-construct a unique programme for artists, researchers and artists’ collectives from all over the world. The programme invites applicants to develop a project that addresses contemporary issues, in particular new technologies, the links between art and science, and environmental and social issues.\nRewards\n\nEach resident has a 50m2 live-in studio in Montmartre (a bedroom with a double bed), a living allowance of 1000€ per month, a production grant of up to 3000€, and personalized support to carry out their project. Art Explora also covers the round-trip travel to Paris for each resident.\nFor the COLLECTIVE programme, only one live-in studio (a bedroom with a double bed, a workspace, a kitchen, and a bathroom) can be provided: only for one of the members of a collective. However, the workspace can be shared with other collective members. The living allowance will be given only to the resident staying at the Cité Internationale des Arts – Montmartre site, and a joint production grant will be allocated to the project.\nFor the CROSS-RESIDENCY – VILA 31, TIRANA programme, the living allowance amount and the residency conditions are the same as in Paris during the 3-month residency in Paris.
