DESCRIPTION:Opportunity type:  Open Call\nFor:  Songwriters, Topliners, Music Artists, Producers of pop or rap music\nDeadline: 01/11/2024.\nRewards: Songwriting camp + exposure + more\nLocation Eligibility: Ghana\n\nAbout this opportunity\n\nThe Centre national de la musique, in association with Expertise France, Impact Hub Accra, MoTAC, and CAA (Creative Art Agency), is looking for 12 artists (songwriters, topliners, producers of pop or rap music) to take part in a songwriting camp bringing together French and Ghanaian artists and songwriters. The project will take place from February 16 to 22 in Accra.\nThe project aims to enhance the music publishing industry in Ghana through professional training and collaboration.\nThroughout the camp, participants will take part in collaborative songwriting sessions focusing on mainstream genres like Afrobeats, rap, R&B, soul, highlife, and pop.\n\nRewards\nParticipants will collaborate to create more than 20 new songs, many of which are expected to be released internationally within the year.
