DESCRIPTION:Opportunity type:  Award\nFor: Filmmakers\nDeadline: 30/04/2025.\nRewards: International Exposure\nLocation Eligibility: Worldwide\n\nAbout this opportunity\n\nThe 33rd Curtas Vila do Conde – International Film Festival is calling filmmakers in all parts of the world for new short films (produced in 2024 or to be produced in 2025) up to 60 minutes in length. Eligible for submission are animations, documentaries, fiction films, experimental films and music videos, in film (16mm and 35mm) or digital (DCP or video files).\nRewards\nOne of the winning films at the International or Portuguese competition will become eligible for a nomination for the European Film Academy’s European Film Awards. \nEligibility\n\n\nOpen to filmmakers in all parts of the world\nEntry Fee\n\n\n\n€16 by 31st December 2024\n€ 20 from 1st of January till 28th February 2025.\nFor entries submitted after 1st of March 2025, the fee is €25.\n\n \nHow to Apply \nApply using the link: Curtas Vila do Conde 2025 – International Film Festival\nAll questions regarding this award should be sent to submissions@curtas.pt\n
