This program supports projects that center or investigate possible futurities and comparative studies within the social fabric of the Bronx.\nThe residency program provides free studio space, mentorship, and digital fabrication resources for art and design production. They partner with organizations such as NYC First, Link NYC, and other academic programs to expand the residents’ networks and organize studio visits.\nRewards\nAFH offers stipends for exhibiting artists up to $25,000.\nAIR is housed on the second floor of the AFH’s 110,000 sq. ft. facility, providing artists with adjacent studios for collaboration and networking.\nResidents have access to a screen-printing studio, construction tools, and metalworking equipment.
