DESCRIPTION:Opportunity type:  Fund\nFor: Cultural Education & Academic Creatives\nDeadline: 31/08/24.\nRewards:  Up to £5,000 grant\nLocation Eligibility: Worldwide\n\nAbout this opportunity\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Karun Thakar in collaboration with the V&A invites educational creatives & researchers for the study of Asian and African textiles and dress all over the world to partake in the Karun Thakar Fund. \n\n\nThe Fund aims to enrich the fields of Asian and African textiles and dress by supporting meaningful and innovative study and practice, foregrounding fresh perspectives and ground-breaking research in under-resourced subject areas through grants and scholarships.\n\n\n\nRewards\n\n\n\n\n\n\nProject Grants are awarded in amounts of up to a maximum of £5000 GBP.
